Why do breweries and bars put their logo on beer buckets?
Because the bucket sits on the table for the whole round. A tap handle gets your beer poured. A bucket gets your brand looked at by four or five people for an hour, then photographed, then carried back to the bar for a refill. It is the only piece of bar merch that is in someone's hands and in their line of sight at the same time.

The math that matters for a brand or distributor: 250 buckets on standard production is $2,987.50. Spread across 250 accounts, that is one branded bucket in every bar on your route for about $12 a door. What size is a standard beer bucket?
Ours is the 5 quart galvanized bucket, 6.7" x 7.1" x 9", with a wire bail handle. That is the size bars already use for bucket specials: room for a round of bottles or cans plus ice, small enough for a two-top. Bigger buckets look impressive in a photo and then get left in the back because they do not fit on the table.
What artwork do I need for a custom beer bucket?
Three print styles: a full color wrap edge to edge, a solid color bucket with a spot-printed logo, or your logo printed straight onto bare galvanized.
To get started, a phone photo of your logo is enough. We build the proof, show you the wrap on the bucket, and only ask for a cleaner file if production needs one. A few things that make a bucket read from across the room:
- One big mark per side. The bucket tapers, so small type near the top and bottom gets lost. Put the logo or can art dead center.
- Use both sides on purpose. Run the same art twice, or put the logo on one side and the offer ("Bucket of 5, $20") on the other.
- High contrast wins. Tecate's red and white and Abita's black and gold both read from 30 feet. Pastel on pastel does not.
- Leave the rim clean. The top band takes the most handling. Keep critical copy out of it.

For a spring patio season launch, approve art by mid-January on standard. For a football-season program, approve by early June.
